Newington Courthouse Preschool

Perhaps we are breathing a sigh of relief now that February is behind us.  The cold weather, the snow and ice gets a little hard to deal with after a while.  But, here we are in March, and even though this month could show us a few tricks weather-wise, to me it is  a promise of better things to spring, my favorite season.  Nothing like it; warm breezes, birds singing, flowers blooming and that indescribable fresh scent in the air….how could anyone not love spring?  So, let us keep the faith that the cold and snowy weather is behind us and it will be “Sunshine and Lollypops” from this day forward.  GOD IS GOOD!

This month the four year olds will begin their study of the color words:  red, blue and yellow, work on learning their phone numbers, and study “spring planting”.  The children will plant bean seeds and patiently wait and watch for them to sprout and grow.  We will also begin preparing for Easter.

The three year olds will continue working with the alphabet and numbers 1—10.  They will also begin their Easter arts and crafts.  Both classes will also be practicing for their spring program to be held in May.

We are now taking registrations for the 2015-1016 school year.  For more information you can call the school at 693-7627 or the church office at 693-2349.
