Ghana Mission Trip

    Pastor Mike Gray and Deacon Don James were part of a team of ten members from four churches, that joined with five Virginia Baptist leaders and with the Ghana Baptist Convention for church starting, dedication of a new campground called “Eagle’s Wings”, baptisms, feeding of children, training of pastors and church leaders, graduation of 33 new missionary leaders,  and the distribution of mosquito nets as part of the launch of the Virginia Baptist – Ghana Baptist work project called “More than Nets”. During the ten days in Ghana twenty churches were started, 146 baptized, 850 new believers, 155 pastors and leaders trained and 883 nets distributed.
